    warts are caused by a virus called Human Papilloma Virus. They appear because for some reason (transplant patients or more often for no known reason such as in children), the wart is not detected by the immune system and is allowed to grow. The treatment aims at stimulating the immune system by creating an inflammation.

    Warts are caused by a virus. Holding hands with a person who has warts, and you will get them. You may even be able to pick up the virus from something a warted hand has touched

    The virus called human papillomavirus or HPV is responsible for the formation of warts. It infects any part of the body, but mostly seen on fingers, hands, and feet and are mostly painless.
    There are many types of HPV that can infect all parts of the body and each type infects the specific body part.
