How would you get rid of a seed wart?
So I have this seed wart on my left thumb on the left side right by the nail. I have had it for a while and always thought it to be a callus. So I cut it off and kept the area clean and keeping a band aid on it.
I noticed that it slowly started to grow back. That’s when I realized it is a seed wart because it looked as if it has seeds in it.
I bought some freeze away and tried that out, nothing happened after two weeks. So, desperate at this point, I cut the sucker off and then freeze it to death!!!!!
Yea.
It hasn’t grown back as fast as it usually does, and it has not spread at all. But it it still there!!
I have called around looking for a doctor to remove it but I have not had any luck yet. I don’t want to go to the emergency room because I can’t afford it.
I find this so disgusting because I am a highly clean person, and this says ew to me!
Just leave me some suggestions other than finding a doctor to remove it, I am in the process of finding one.
I wonder if that duct tape thing actually works. I have come across many duct tape remedies to remove warts. I think I may try it. I have tried freezing it but it has not worked yet.
Another suggestion I will try using! I saw the band aids that remove warts at the store, but was affraid they wouldn’t work. I will try them now that I have an actuall opinion about them!
I am not going to your remedy page Dr. Bob!
I think my mom has had a couple maybe, but I don’t know for sure. My older sister had one on her hand and tried surgically removing it, but it came back. When I cut it off, it stays a nice smooth natural skin tone color, however when I let it grow back it turns blood vesseled and dark brownish, so I know it is noticable to others and it makes me highly uncomfortable. I am going to school right now and when I am holding my paper down with my left hand, I just feel like eyes are all over it. I know they aren’t but you know, I would like to feel comfortable with myself.

"Here are some of the ways to get rid of seed warts:
1. Applying salicylic acid on the warts
2. Cryotherapy – liquid nitrogen freezes the seed warts and in a couple of days, it will fall off.
3. Catharidin – This can cause blisters to form under the warts and in time they will fall off.
4. Immunotherapy – immunomodulator agents trigger and boost the immune system
5. Electrocautery – electricity burns the warts
6. The use of duct tape – the affected area is covered with duct tape for a week and then when it is removed, you need to soak the area. After that, the dead cells are scraped off.
7. When all other methods fail, the individual can choose the laser therapy"
hope this proves helpful^^

I had one of those on the palm of my hand once. I used the salicylic acid bandages (It’s the cheapest OTC wart treatment). They pretty well killed the skin around the wart and the thing just sort of peeled off. I noticed there were these seedlike things still embedded in the skin, so I grabbed some tweezers and yoinked ‘em out. The wart has not come back.

I had a seed pimple on my knee for 15 years! From age 13 til I was 28! I tried popping it, freezing it, chemically removing it and nothing worked. One day, it just went away. I think your body has to eventually just work it out on it’s own. I know this probably is not the answer you want to hear but those things are impossible to get rid of, sorry. You look young and they are so small you are most likely the only one who sees it, unless you show other people. Don’t cut it off, it’s not going to work and you could do more damage to yourself too by getting a skin cancer. It doesn’t matter how clean you are it’s just your body reacting that way. Is their anybody in your family that has the same thing? I had an uncle that use to get them. I think your genes have something to do with getting those, just like warts!
