The next step for getting rid of a plantar wart?

I’ve had the wart since around November I guess, possibly December. Originally thought it was a calloused over blister, as this is what my mom initially told me. Now it’s clear its a plantar wart.

I’ve been using Compound W, and now Dr. Scholl’s instead, for quite a while, but it still won’t go away. Although it hasn’t seemed to grow or spread, thank goodness.

I still have a time or two of home freezing to try, but if that doesn’t send it packing, my mother said we’d go to the doctor.

I was wondering what kind of treatments to expect, should it come to this, how painful each of these is, and how effective the generally have been for others who have suffered from these dang warts.

Quick note: MD Lisa or MD Loretta or whatever your name is, don’t bother answering. Not only do you cut and paste the exact same message to every answer (clear spam alert there) I already know that the strain of HPV that causes common plantar warts is completely different from the one causing genital warts. Is it normal to have itching after genital warts have been removed with lazer?

So,I was recently diagnosed with hpv (low risk) and had an "outbreak" so saw a Dr. And had him remove them by first injecting each one with "viva…something" (a numbing liquid) then he lazered them off! It wasn’t too bad,but now it really itches!I noticed 2 days later that my rectum itched(s) really bad and it felt kind like a burn and swollen bump which wasn’t there before! I called the nurse and she said I had to put Neosporin 2times a day! So,I have been…i’m itchy around my cervix where I had the out break and I felt one small bump!!it didn’t work?? The spot that I felt the bump is not the spot that itches.it’s so uncomfortable! What should I do?is this part of the healing process? Am I allergic?

genital wart treatment scar?

Nearly a year ago, I received freezing treatment for genital warts. Now I have a large red bump scar on the area as a result,is this permanent or is there any way this can be removed?

I’ve had bumps on my vaginal area since I could remember (so at LEAST since I was around 6, I’ve had them since then).

On my lips and around my hole I have raised bumps that don’t really hurt but they do appear in clusters. Again I’ve had them since forever. When I "stretch out" my lips the bumps appear white-ish. Most of the bumps are less than a cementer or maybe a centimeter but NOT much larger than that.

My vagina sometimes inches, and about every month my urethra will hurt and it’ll bleed a bit (I just assume because I scratched it?) there are a few bumps around that too…

this may be TMI but: I’ve never had sex in my life, and when I masturbate I can only stick one finger in…

My sister has herpes and so if I told my parents about this (I’m not of legal age to go by myself to the doctors) they’d assume I was having sex with guys and they’ll ask how I found out about the warts because they’re really conservative and they’ve always told me that masturbating is a sin and all of that so they’d be pissed…

Wart-like symptoms……….?

Ok guys, before I ask my question I would like to ask you from the bottom of my heart to please, help me. I am a very shaken up 19 year old male, who thinks he may have HPV, or something other. About 7-8 months ago I recieved oral sex (********) from a girl who I now know is promiscuous, and once more a month after (twice in total). About 3 months ago I noticed a single spot on my scrotum, barely raised and smooth. Since then I have a total of 2 spots on my glans (head of penis) and 3 on my scrotum, and they have a distinct sheen/shine to them. The biggest one (about the size of a dime, give or take) is almost bulbous – like. Ive been to my family doctor who wasnt sure what they are, but he said not to worry it isnt sexually related. He prescribed me Triamonoclone (spelling?) to try to clear it up, but it did not do much. He then made an appt. with a Urologist, but I have cancelled after I was told id be better off seeing a dermatologist, so I did. I asked my dermatologist, "do you think its an STD?" and he said "i’m not sure.. I dont think so" to me, that isnt right. I dont know how much I can credit him, I most deffinatly doubt him. So anyways, I have an appt. with the urologist in 3 weeks and a possible biopsy. Just 15 mins ago I was on the phone with my friend and we happen to have gotten on the subject on this girl I messed around with, here it turns out shes given head to 10-11 different guys. Im not sure if it was ALL of them before me though. I immediately turn my head and puked on the floor (thats how shooken up it made me) and I had to hang up. My spots sometimes itch, nothing really bad though mostly if I itch first. I do have pictures if anyone would be willing to check them out (im so shaken up i dont think ill be sleeping tonight). Does anyone have a clue what this could be? whats the chance of me getting HPV? Thanks.. Greg.

Genital Wart Removal Using Apple Cider Vinegar…?

Does this really work? I’ve read lots of testimonials online and people seem to be raving about it. Just seems to good to be true. I know there’s no permanent cure for it, but some temporary relief would be nice. Can’t really afford to go to the doctor and pay hundreds of dollars to have them removed. I’ll try this if it’s safe. I’m aware of the burning sensation and possible nerve damage if done improperly. Just wanted to hear from some people who have personally tried it. Thanks!

do warts comeback after treatment.?

i heard that genital warts often come back even if they have been treated with acid in this case. would they normally comeback in the same spot or somewhere else on the genital area? also i tend to get bumps in the crease of my thigh and vaginal area, and after a few days they go away, is that just razor burn??

Why am I getting warts all of a sudden?

I’ve had warts most of my life. I’d get one or two every few years or so. Recently however, my hands broke out in them. I have at least ten small warts on my fingers, and five of them are on the same finger. If anyone knows what could be causing this, it would be much appreciated.

Are warts on the palm of your hand harder to get off?

I Have had this wart right below my pinky and ring finger and the freeze away didn’t work. It looks like a plantar wart. I have been trying the potato treatment for about a week. It has definitely became smaller but isn’t going away. What should I do? I have filed a callous down from it. Should i continue?
